Flower Preservation Terms & Condictions

Thank-you for asking us to preserve and frame your wedding flowers, please could you take the time to read the following terms and conditions, and make sure you are happy with them. 

Section 1: Before Blooms Arrive to Pressed Floral
  1. I understand that I am solely responsible for the shipping or hand-delivering of my blooms to Made by Coral, including all costs associated with that shipment.

  2. I understand that I am responsible for labeling my bouquet and the contents of my package with my name and order details before shipping. If this is not included, my blooms will still be preserved in the condition they arrive in. These unclaimed blooms will remain for 6 months, and if they remain unclaimed, they will be discarded.

  3. I understand that ribbons, pendants, or personal items can only be included in a frame, provided they have been labeled on the Client Information Form and are thin enough to be sealed within a frame. I understand that if my contents are not labeled/identified beforehand, they may be missed and discarded. 

  4. I understand that the turnaround time for my order is subject to change due to various factors that could effect Made by Coral's delicate preservation process. 

  5. I understand the deposit is non-refundable.

 

Section 2: Preservation

  1. I understand that flowers fade and change color/shade and appearance during and after the preservation process. In certain circumstances and on certain types of flowers it may be necessary to artificially enhance the colour of your flowers, this decision is at the discretion of our artist, unless otherwise instructed by you when you confirm your display requirements. 

  2. I understand that my bouquet will be preserved within the condition that it is received.

  3. I understand that any wires, adhesives, pins, or other ways of securing my blooms used by my florist may render them unworkable.

  4. I understand that if my bouquet is unworkable due to bugs or mold, it cannot be returned to me and will be discarded.

  5. I understand that if my bouquet arrives and is deemed unworkable, I will be provided options moving forward. In the event that you instruct us to replace any of your flowers, we are more than happy to purchase these on your behalf for which we will add a charge to your final invoice. We will get your agreement to the cost first. We will replace your flowers with the closest match available, however we are unable to guarantee an exact match due to the variance of this natural product. 

  6. I understand that faux blooms  can only be included in Pressed Frames if they can be pressed very thin and do not have any large plastic pieces in the center. If they are included in the design, I understand that they will appear differently over time compared to the real flowers in the design. 

Section 3: Design

  1. I understand that not all my blooms will be used due to thickness, flower condition, or lack of space in the frame.

  2. I understand that Made by Coral  has the right to seal and safely package my piece within two months of requesting approval for my finished design and not receiving communication from the client.

  3. I understand requests for any changes made after a frame has been sealed may result in damage to the preserved florals.

Section 4: Fulfillment of Frame to Client

  1. I understand that my order cannot be shipped to me until all outstanding balances have been paid.

  2. I understand that if I want to change my shipping address before my frame is shipped, I am responsible for contacting Made by Coral to coordinate this change. Otherwise, my frame will be shipped to the address with the payment order. If this happens and is the incorrect address, Made by Coral is not responsible for shipping it to the correct address. 

  3. I understand that if my frame is damaged due to carrier shipment, Made by Coral may send a return label (up to 14 days after the arrival of the frame) to repair the piece. If my frame is damaged due to mishandling or other circumstances, I have an option for frame repair that varies in cost depending on my frame size.

  4. I understand that Made by Coral custom products are non-refundable. Should Made by Coral see that a refund is necessary, they may, in their sole discretion, offer a refund. However, I waive any claim against Made by Coral, for any amount that is more than what I paid to Made by Coral

  5. I understand that Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Section 5: Care for Frame

  1. I understand that my flowers may dull or lose pigment as they are preserved, oxidized, and continue to age.

  2. I understand that prolonged storage of my frame or failure to promptly remove from packaging, may lead to expediting the color change process and may cause increased browning.  

  3. I understand that hot and humid climates will affect my flowers and cause them to age more rapidly. This includes kitchens and bathrooms.

  4. I understand that placing my frame in direct sunlight will also cause the blooms to fade or brown more rapidly.

 

Section 6: Resin Items

  1. I understand that my ring holder, keyring, date light and initial light do not require approval before resin work.

  2. I understand that the resin may gradually become an antique amber color.

  3. I understand that some blooms may change colour in resin
